The Philippine Sports Commission was established on January 24, 1990, by virtue of Republic Act No. 6847, also known as “The Philippine Sports Commission Act.”

Established in 1990, the Philippine Sports Commission has been consistent in promoting physical education, and encouraging and sustaining the development of sports in the country. This year, the Philippine Sports Commission (“PSC/Commission”) is celebrating 34 years of advocating sports in our country.
